Airtel Introduces Audio Cinema

Bharti Airtel, India’s leading telecom service provider, launched a unique and innovative concept called ”Audio Cinema”, a mobile multiplex for its esteemed customers in August 2009.

This unique offer enables Airtel customers to use their mobile phone to listen to full length movie tracks anytime, anywhere. All one has to do is dial 505999555 to activate with a subscription charge of Rs 30 per month for 60 minutes.

Subscribers can enjoy Bollywood movies and also enjoy the audio version of Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Bhojpuri and Telegu blockbusters.

The same service will be soon extended to Marathi and Gujarati films as well.With a catalogue of over 400 movies, the service is powered by UTV New Media Ltd with the technical expertise provided by OnMobile Global Ltd.

Since its launch, Audio Cinema has gained immense popularity by the day with a high acceptance rate from Airtel customers. About 5.5 lakh customers have enjoyed the movies released since then. The service has been a hit in Mumbai and Maharashtra circle with almost 4 % of the mobile base active on Audio Cinema.

    Airtel will screw u till death with its charges, Beware of this big cheater, AIRTEL LIVE is a big fraud also, THEY DEBIT GAME CHARGES EVEN WITHOUT DOWNLOADING AND WEN ENQUIRED THEY BLAME ME, THEY ARE HUNGRY FOR MONEY

    Airtel is always like this… It is not going to change… Further it is not interested in Indian Telecom Industry with low margins… So it is looking for opportunities in other countries, first South Africa and now Bangladesh… (It is already operating in Pakistan…)
