@Srinivasan
Finally my number has been successfully activated by Airtel. But my financial loss due to this delay could not be compensated by any means.
Anyway, Im very happy that at least now they fixed the problem.

Big surprise to me!
I opted for MNP on 5th December and my request successfully activated(?!) by Airtel on 10th December.
The “No service period” defined by TRAI as 2 hours is extended till now. 90 Hours passed since Aircel released service to my number 9788879845. My friends are getting the message ” The number you have called does not exist!”. Simply saying “No incoming and no outgoing”.
I am a electrician. I lost my customers these 4 days and sitting idle at home and calling the customer care to resolve the issue. They simply escaping by saying my documents were not received by them.
Airtel is lacking such technical knowledge and playing with customers life. If it is awarded no.1, then the quality of the other operators are really very doubtful.

Actually now DoT is started to promoted private players directly..they dont care about Govt. company…they dont bother with their own company..govt. company should have to follow govt norms… and private players are free from the rules…they can radiate huge transe power so that u can get network even in the house..they dont care with health of the public..they only want profit..great going by govt..
Raghu December 12, 2011 at 11:03 pm
I do not know why the awards were given to Airtel. They should be given the best award for Highest tariff compared to other operators especially in ap
Sudhakar December 12, 2011 at 7:27 pm

Instead of wasting money in brand-change, ultra-low-tariff in Africa, getting this award, Airtel should bring down 3G and other tariffs…
h rajpoot December 12, 2011 at 2:59 am
though they have proper coverage …..but worst cus care..higher tarrif..
Vikas Patidar December 12, 2011 at 12:23 am
I would rather suggest them to give an award for the “Best Network and Worst Tariff”. In general “Lootera Operator of the year”
Proximus December 12, 2011 at 12:17 am

Sudhakar December 11, 2011 at 8:22 pm
airtel must have given lump sum of money to TCOE for getting the award. So nothing proud in it !!!!!!.

Wow ! DoT giving Best ‘Delivery of Network Services’ award to the one against whom TRAI has received MNP complaints are highest !
Delivery of Network Services is so good that they are unable to leave anyone off their network !
amar December 11, 2011 at 4:53 pm
airtel is best, no invalid deduction from my no. And gives good offer to me every month like Rs.20=20,100=100.
