Airtel today announced the availability of its 3G services in Tirupati, Nellore and Kadappa.
Airtel 3G customers can enjoy the benefits of 3G speeds on the device of their choice be it their mobile handsets, laptops or tablets.
The company has also introduced a first of its kind ‘internet usage calculator’ available online to help customers analyse their current internet data usage and choose an Airtel 3G plan accordingly.
The launch of Airtel 3G gives customers the power to enjoy multimedia services, high speed mobile broadband, videos on phone, live TV, video calls and much more – all at speeds never experienced before.
Airtel 3G mobile customers in the country will now be able to leverage Airtel internet on 3G to make international video calls and interact face-to-face with their loved ones and colleagues living abroad – instantly sharing experiences and information.
To know more or join Airtel 3G services – customers can visit http://www.airtel.in/Airtel3G/ or call 12134 (tollfree) or SMS ‘3G HELP’ to 121.

Found a strange thing today. Here in Ambala I’m able to select Vodafone 3G network on Idea sim. But the thing that’s confusing me is they both have 3G license for Haryana circle then why are they sharing network? I was in an area where Idea 3G is not available but Vodafone is. So I selected Vodafone and was suprised to see that it allowed access, though wasn’t able to connect to net. Seems like Tata/Voda/Idea signed a MoU under which one of them will launch 3G in small towns n villages and subscribers of other will be able to select and use 3G network. That’ll definitely cut the input cost for all.

@San Ghosh: Please try to mention the name of the particular state to which the service or offer belongs in the title as well as in the post. Though all information here is useful but if it doesn’t belong to a someones then why should he/she bother to load the whole page form the news feeds. Hope you guys take an action to draw attention of specific users too.
