It seems like 3G tariff war has started among operators as Aircel has rationalized its 3G Plans yesterday in Haryana. Aircel is providing 3G services here under ICRA.
The service has started in Haryana few days back. Now with 3G data they are also offering 2G data.With 3G data plans are pocket-burner for students and young populations, 2G data plans are still preferred by a lot of people.
Now under the same price tag Aircel will be offering 3G and 2G pack ,this seems to be surprise move from Aircel hope this has been done in order to curb people using 3G under 2G packs.

[b]Aircel has stopped providing 3G services in Haryana and other circles where they tie-up with Tata Docomo. Now we can’t latch Aircel numbers on Tata Docomo 3G network. Maybe this has been done after TRAI found network sharing for 3G services as illegal move by companies. Even on their website they are showing “3G is not available” if we select Haryana or any other ICRA circle which was before showing areas.
I want other companies like Airtel/Idea/Vodafone also stops network sharing as they are not covering areas where they are holding licenses and paying for those where they not.

There is something strange has happened with Aircel GPRS/EDGE settings APN in Haryana as I can use any access point for browsing/downloading anything on Aircel network IND 807.
Aircel was before using Tata Docomo network as Aircel’s own tower was not installed but now as the company has installed tower we have Aircel’s own network i.e IND 807 available in our area. This came to my notice a month ago when I recharged with Rs.98 pocket internet pack and was using internet on my mobile. Tata Docomo internet settings was set as default and I forgot to change it to Aircel but Aircel internet worked on Tata Docomo APN i.e tata.docomo.internet.. I was shocked to see that. For a moment I thought I had changed the SIM to Tata Docomo but that wasn’t the case. When I access thru on Aircel it says, “You don’t have sufficient balance to start this session” as balance was low.
But if I use any other APN say or only or my name as access point or leave it blank it works fine. I don’t know what the hell is happening with their system. I even used telecomtalk.info as APN and it worked but if I use it deducts the balance even if pack is activate.
I know it may sound strange to all of you but it’s true. Anyone from Haryana can test this if he/she has Aircel pocket internet activated and have Aircel tower installed in his/her area. It will not work on Tata Docomo network. Selecting Tata Docomo network on Aircel number and then using any APN will not work. It will give error.
Stepwise Procedure:
1. Activate any pocket internet pack.
2. Select Aircel network i.e IND 807 if present in your area.
3. Set APN to anything in settings say, a or b or c or aircel or leave it blank.
4. Connect and it will work.
No difference in speed will be noticed but a question will struck your mind, how it is possible?
As I said before this will work only if you have Aircel Haryana network i.e IND 807 available in your area.
Please post here if it works for you or not.

But Buddy Docomo Has Worst Coverage in Rural Areas Of A.P. For Best Coverage Opt For Vodafone/BSNL/AirTel

As far as am concerned am getting the best signals for my docomo in my circle in Andhra Pradesh. Even the gprs is very fast compared to other networks which my friends r being used. Even while making my journeys its been very strong signal network

Everytime someone use the line that so and so network is worst in all parts of India, it makes me think that how can a person in one circle is able to estimate the QoS in other circle. Has he travelled throughout the country? or he has some software which let him know? Just because you are not having a good experience doesn’t mean it is bad all over.Better use the line , “xyz is worst here in my area”

This is how BSNL works, when people began to throng them for 3G, they increased the tariff thereby blocking the new additions who bring high volume data use and high ARPU. Now the BSNL tariff has become costlier than private operators like Aircel who will take the BSNL data users to their folds. It is a basic management principle that low cost will bring high volume in return. These BSNL management are crazy, not knowing what to do to earn money.

Reliance is offering cheap 3g tariff then bsnl ,reliance 97/- u will get 300MB 3G 30 days validitiy while new Bsnl tariff is of 100/- for 250 MB for 15 days ,RELIANCE is having cheapest 3G tariff in india and also xcelent speed fastest 3g…

Oh thanks bro. Ya here idea is offering 3G Cheaper than BSNL. They have offered 500MB Data for just 201rs for me..

They are not withdrawing any of the 2G pack. Just added some 2G data also to their 3G packs. All the packs mentioned in this post are 3G packs. Also, Aircel has also made their all 2G packs unlimited again few weeks before i.e Rs.5/14/29/98 are all unlimited again. Do check Aircel website for your circle.

These plans are applicable to all those circles where Aircel is providing 3G services through Intra Circle Roaming Arrangement with Tata Docomo. It’s quite surprising that in areas where they hold license, plan are costlier as compared to ICRA one like Haryana. Tata Docomo 3G plans are also costly in Haryana as compared to Aircel which is using their network. Same is the case with other operators like Idea is using Airtel’s network in Karanatka and Idea providing cheaper plan than Airtel. They’ve to come up with identical plans.

What about 98 pack with 3GB Data? If it is removed then aircel will be loosing all its pocket internet users.
