Amit.G February 23, 2011 at 6:21 pm
@Baba Firangi
Ha HA HA WAT A JOKE MAN!!! GREAT
Baba Firangi February 23, 2011 at 5:21 pm
@ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR
And
Its Arjunk C’s calculation. If he says Aircel is No. 3 then Aircel is No. 3. Tomorrow Aircel will be No.1 not only in India but also in the world by beating China Mobile. Because according to Arjunk C, “Aircel is increasing its coverage”. India’s pride ‘Arjunk C.’. He is a living example of the pathetic education standard of our country which constantly churns out Idiots like him. He single-handedly has the potential for being the biggest reason for which our education minister must resign from his post with immediate effect.
Raghu February 23, 2011 at 3:51 pm
@Kaushik Roy
yes definitely it will beat aircel and also docomo in the next 2 years
Raghu February 23, 2011 at 3:50 pm
@Kaushik Roy
i know but Mr arjun says Aircel is 3rd position. i never said dat.
Kaushik Roy February 23, 2011 at 3:37 pm
Beating Vodafone ? Are u insane ?
Uninor surely beat Aircel within next 2 years
Kaushik Roy February 23, 2011 at 3:33 pm
Airtel,Vodafone,Idea,BSNL,RCDMA,TATA all six are ahead of Aircel
then how can they are 3rd ?
ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR February 23, 2011 at 3:03 pm
@Raghu
Aircel Has Better Coverage in Karnataka. If You Roam in Any Part Of Karnataka, You Will Get Good Signals of Aircel. I’ve Roamed Everywhere in Karnataka and I Found Aircel Has Good Coverage in Karnataka. In 55% Of Karnataka You Will Get Good Coverage Of Aircel.
Raghu February 23, 2011 at 11:01 am
@ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR
Aircel cannot be in 3rd position in Karnataka i am sure about it.
Raghu February 23, 2011 at 11:00 am
@ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR
u are only idiot and talk two different things at a time. and onetime u say Uninor is improving the coverage and one day u will say Uninor is not doing anything. Aircel still is the worst i can say in Maharasthra. first u rectify urself and then start talking abt others
ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR February 23, 2011 at 7:38 am
SEE AIRCEL IS WORST IN TERMS OF NETWORK QUALITY BUT NOT IN COVERAGE IN KARNATAKA. DONOT SPEAK IDIOTICALLY WITHOUT EXPERIENCING NETWORK COVERAGE IF AIRCEL IS WORST IN ANDHRA PRADESH, THEN IT IS YOUR PROBLEM ACCORDING TO AMIT.G AND MY STATEMENT AIRCEL IS STANDING IN 3RD POSITION IN KARNATAKA BY BEATING UNINOR. PREVIOUS TIMES AIRCEL WAS WORST IN MAHARASHTRA BUT NOW IT IS IMPROVING ITS COVERAGE. NEVER SEE AN OPERATOR’S WEAK POINT, BUT APPRECIATE THEM SO THAT THEY CAN GIVE BETTER SERVICES @Raghu
Raghu February 22, 2011 at 4:56 pm
@Kiran
yes that should not be the case they have to inform validity of every packs by sms atleast/
Kiran February 22, 2011 at 4:24 pm
@Raghu
Yes ur rite Aircel sucks badly n also these idiots never inform abt the validity of GPRS packs n we end up with 0 balance by surfing unknowingly
Raghu February 22, 2011 at 4:00 pm
@ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR
no Aircel is worst in Karnataka as well as in most of the places in Kerala and TN.
ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR February 22, 2011 at 3:22 pm
@Kiran
That’s Right This is Causing Due To Improper Maintenance of Server and also Lack of Technical Knowledge
Kiran February 22, 2011 at 1:41 pm
@ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR
Aircel sucks badly, worst network with worst GPRS speed,opposite person cant hear properly if signal drops by 2 bars.Nobody likes to switch to Aircel, Im porting out of Aircel. For better network IDEA,AIRTEL,VODAFONE,DOCOMO & UNINOR are good, uninor is only poor in coverage but good in quality.
ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR February 22, 2011 at 7:32 am
@Shyam
Hello Buddy, Aircel Has Started to Expand Coverage in All The States and If GTL Rolls Out Atleast 1,50,000 BTS Then Aircel Will Become the Best Operator in India Don’t Worry It Will Gradually Improve
Shyam February 22, 2011 at 12:45 am
Hi guys! Aircel is present in Assam and N.E since 2006, it has good coverage in rural areas but very serious tower shortages in towns. Airtel is the best network anywhere.
Mahmood Junaid February 18, 2011 at 7:43 pm
i had seen reports that aircel will launch 3g services before cricket world cup… but what is the update on it… coz world cup will start in hours…
ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR February 16, 2011 at 8:01 pm
@saket maheswari
That’s Right, I Think in 2014 Aircel Will Be The 2nd Largest Gsm Operator in India By Beating Vodafone. Coz Aircel Has Started To Cover All The States Excluding Assam, North East, Jammu and Kashmir and Tamilnadu. Coz they Give Value For Money and Network. Lost Hope On TD.They are Not Able to Cover New Area in Almost All The States. But in Karnataka It’s Excellent.
saket maheswari February 16, 2011 at 7:05 pm
aircel will surely improve if consumer will give ot much importance…
everybody is stick to vodafone or airtel though their tarrif is very high…
make the market consumer oriented…
ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR February 16, 2011 at 9:28 am
@Raghu
It is True Aircel is Worst in Andhra Pradesh. But it is Good in Kerala and Karnataka and Excellent in Tamilnadu
Praveen February 16, 2011 at 8:11 am
Aircel 3G signa is now available in varanasi upe..!! suff internet on 3G network and with 3G speed with 2G internet packs with free trail.
Raghu February 15, 2011 at 11:32 pm
@Vicky
yes online recharge facility is not available right now.
Vicky February 15, 2011 at 11:29 pm
I also like uninor connectivity and quality but i cant recharge via online any solution?
Abhijit February 15, 2011 at 11:03 pm
Whether aircel wi-fi will be available at pan india circle cities? Or just at limited circles city area?
Raghu February 15, 2011 at 10:55 pm
@tagore
i am using Aircel and Uninor. Uninor is much better than Aircel. Aircel have no signals at all indoors i agree. Uninor there is room for improvement and they will improve more in the coming one year.
tagore February 15, 2011 at 10:48 pm
Aircel and Unionor never realise they have no signal in Hyderabad. Both networks are pathetic in sevaral areas and have no signal at all indoors. What is the problem Aircel?
tagore February 15, 2011 at 10:47 pm
Also the using of term “free minutes” “talk time” or “free SMS” while charging money in the name of STVs or RCVs. Is it not misleading using “free” while charging money?
suprabhat 4rm kolkata February 15, 2011 at 9:21 pm
Aircel 3G will launch in 18th Feb 2011…in kolkata…i’m sure…
Emad February 15, 2011 at 8:54 pm
Gprs is best than so calle Haircell WI-FI Rs.15 500mb
one can download 60 mb per hour double than this unlimited wi-fi with 30 mb/hour FUP
tarun del February 15, 2011 at 8:11 pm
I am second to Arshad’s thoughts….. this is just another stupidity…. how cum a 30MB/hour could be an unlimited plan
Plus, with a rate of Rs. 15 per hour its too costly…. I can simply walk to any nearby cafe and can avail 1 hr. for Rs. 10 only as cyber cafe’s would be easily available in localities rather than what so called AIRCEL Wi-Fi zones…haaaaa……
If AIRCEL really wanted to get customer’s attention…they must launch Wi-Fi which could be easily accessible throughout the city, instead of some specific zones
overall…not so impressed
devil February 15, 2011 at 7:17 pm
What about the 3g launch ?? When it is going to launch in kolkata??
Arshad February 15, 2011 at 6:32 pm
The using of the term, unlimited downloads, should be banned when there is a fair usage policy. What is the meaning of unlimited when you can only download a meek 30mb per hour. Its foolish.
ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR February 15, 2011 at 6:32 pm
@Amit.G
Then Might Be I’m Wrong Or May Not Be Wrong. Really! What are The Cities Name Had Docomo Covered 3G In Karnataka are You Having any Details and Still Is Docomo Covering 2G Signals in Other Parts Of Karnataka?
Amit.G February 15, 2011 at 6:12 pm
@ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR
Dude ur telling this from past 2months. last time u said its declared officially tat aircel ll launch 3g in 2days but almsot 10days got passed n still no 3g from aircel. docomo has started 3g in 10cities of karnataka where u dont find aircel/airtel 3g signal
Keshav Jha February 15, 2011 at 5:26 pm
Ye 30MB/hour FUP kis paagal ke mind ki upaj hai???
ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR February 15, 2011 at 5:17 pm
@Amit.G
Man Aircel Created a Big Surprise. Aircel Started To Cover Maharashtra Again. And Also All India They are Covering.
ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR February 15, 2011 at 5:13 pm
@Amit.G
Coming 1 or 2 Days Aircel 3G Will Launch in Bangalore and Mysore Same Confirmed By Aircel Appelate Authority
Amit.G February 15, 2011 at 5:06 pm
@ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR
Both didn bid for 3G in karnataka so u cant say, but from past 4months aircel 3g signal is live but still they havent launched it
Sougata Das February 15, 2011 at 4:04 pm
When it’s gonna launch in Kolkata? How do the customer know where is the Aircel WiFi zone..Will there be any kind of advertisement board display or something…
ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR February 15, 2011 at 3:51 pm
@Amit.G
Aircel is a Lazy Operator,Ok. What Do You Say About Idea and Vodafone?
Sagarkinkar February 15, 2011 at 3:26 pm
@Mayur
When aircel mobile service launch in wardha/nagpur.
Amit.G February 15, 2011 at 3:14 pm

Mayur February 15, 2011 at 3:07 pm
@ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR
According to there cc aircel will cover whole maharashtra upto march 2012…upto date they r present only in 10 districts out of 35….
dev February 15, 2011 at 3:01 pm
Flop, wifi offers upto 50Mbit but here u get only 512kbps that too with 30MB FUP….
go to hell…
Benny February 15, 2011 at 2:45 pm
@Devraj no… they are not the same… wifi in airport is open access without registration requirement
Ganesh February 15, 2011 at 2:37 pm
Holycrap! 30MB for 1 hour! It’s unfair! You can’t watch one 10 minute video in a hour with this 30MB! I will stay away from aircel wi-fi!
Benny February 15, 2011 at 2:18 pm
If there are anny lawyers out there among TT readers please try a PIL against this ‘unlimited’ gimmick
ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR February 15, 2011 at 2:17 pm
That Means Are They Covering Maharashtra? @Mayur
Benny February 15, 2011 at 2:14 pm
Flop show by Aircel…. Hope u guys are listening.
Terming the 30 MB FUP as ‘unlimited’ is highly illegal and very bad deception tactic by AIrcel
Arun February 15, 2011 at 2:10 pm
After airtel 3G tarrifs this is the funniest thing I had ever heard high speed “512Kbps” and “30MB/hr”.
These operators started screwing us.
Devraj February 15, 2011 at 2:00 pm
Dear All,
I am having some quires about this service. Is this system is like one which we have in Airports
I checked Available Wi fi connection on my laptop in bangalore but not shown Aircell
Imran February 15, 2011 at 1:38 pm
Very silly offer.
Nobody will use it.
Sam February 15, 2011 at 1:29 pm
Too costly, this idea wont work !!! Cybercafes are better :p
Saurabh February 15, 2011 at 1:19 pm
30MB Limit is just funny for that
Mayur February 15, 2011 at 1:06 pm
@Sagarkinkar
Aircel service has been launch in nagpur on 14th feb 11…sim card r available at rs.30 with talktime of rs.120…it will take 1year to launch in whole vidharabha…
Emad February 15, 2011 at 11:56 am
Unlimited download in each session with 30 MB (FUP) what a kiddish offer than what is the use of 512 KBPS?
jagadeesh February 15, 2011 at 11:31 am
when ll be in coimbatore. charges r too high & speed is not sufficient.
Jai February 15, 2011 at 11:26 am
when will it launch in lucknow?
bhavin February 15, 2011 at 11:25 am
its a stupid service to b honest.
1. 15rs for 1 hour = 15rs for 30mb = 2mb/1rs. we get 1mb/1rs in 3G (docomo/mtnl).
2. i have to goto a wifi station (1 of the 50,000) to access it. while i can have 3G on my phone at any 3G service place.
3. speed in 3G is much better then 512kbps.
good points:
1. can access wifi on devices other than mobile (laptop, tablets that dont have 3G)
2. can use aircel wifi without having to buy a NEW AIRCEL SIM card. (i can pay 15rs to my frnd who got aircel connection. when i connect to a wifi, i will enter his number. he wld sms me username/pass which he received via SMS. use the wifi for 1hour) all without having a aircel number.
the best thing is they are being innovative. soon others will follow and have tieups. so we will have wifi access CHEAPER and almost EVERYWHERE.
sahil February 15, 2011 at 11:20 am
on 512 kbps speed , 30 MB= 7.5 mins. of downloading…………..bull shit plans, why the hell everybody names its plan unlimited & then suck blood with FUP.
The future of our country is black just purely filled with FUP shits.
Mark my words ….. 3 years from now & u won’t find a single plan without FUP be it on any speed tier !!!!!!!
kochikkaran February 15, 2011 at 11:17 am
i don’t get why these private operators are calling 30MB as unlimited… there is no value for unlimited if it is given by private operators.. they should increase the fup to 100 MB atleast otherwise better use the mobile 2g to connect to laptop and use it..
Devraj February 15, 2011 at 11:03 am
Weather these signal are available all over Bangalore City
Can I use this service without any additional device(like data card ) only by my laptop
stepfree February 15, 2011 at 11:03 am
Any broadband speed of 2mbps line means actual downloadable speed of 2048/8 = 256KB/s, but you don’t get full speed it will be around 200 to 225KB. In that sense, 512KB should be called as 4mbps line. Thats good enough to download a movie of 700mb size in 30 mins. Which is really a good high-speed connection.
abhishek singh February 15, 2011 at 11:03 am
Good intiative.This is one of the common trend in abroad. But the rates r high for Aircel . I hope with time they will lower it down.
Saurav Rehan February 15, 2011 at 11:03 am
when aircel is already having license of BWA in many circles then why this company is waisting its time and money in this stupid 50000 wifi zones.
zaid February 15, 2011 at 11:02 am
NICE SERVICE BUT NEED TO LAUNCH IN WHOLE MUMBAI THAN ONLY 5 ZONES AND CHARGES ALSO NEED TO B RECTIFIED
Benny February 15, 2011 at 10:55 am
what do u mean by “blazing-fast speed and an enhanced user experience”????
512kbps is a basic broadband speed. Not a blazing fast speed. If it was 1mbps or 2 mbps u can call it that way. More over its too costly as they have a usage limit of 30MB per hour. For 15 INR getting only 30 MB is very costly. I would go for this if they atleast gave 50 MB data for an hour or 50MB for an hour usage timed throughout one day.But what i like about this service is the simple registration process….
shubham February 15, 2011 at 10:46 am
High speed means upto 2 mbps not ” 512 kbps ”
i m using bsnl broadband nd get speed of 2 mbps
Mridul February 15, 2011 at 10:46 am
It will not success………….
Kamal February 15, 2011 at 10:43 am
Bull’s Shit, 512 Kbps and its called High speed…. Moreover has to Visit a wifi Zone to Get connected when there is a lot of other options are available, CDMA Datacards, Thethering enabled handsets moreover 3G, most…
Sagarkinkar February 15, 2011 at 10:41 am
when aircel mobile service launch in wardha/nagpur? Please give me some info.
Gaurav February 15, 2011 at 10:38 am
“High speed access @ 512kbps”
What a joke…
Have the Aircel and Spectranet guys gone crazy in using the above words..
