Aircel has introduced “Aircel Home” which is essentially a Wi-Fi solution for home. It is basically a WiFi Hotspot that lest you connect to the internet from all the nook and corner of your house. This router is equipped with a High Gain Antenna that captures signals more efficiently than the conventional modems and then literally works like a Wi-Fi router.

Aircel WiFi Connect

The Aircel home has a Sim card slot just like any other dongle and once we put in the Sim connects to the internet and at the same time acts like a 3G hotspot. This router is run by an external power source which means that if you ever find yourself in dark because of power cut then you will also not be able to access the Internet.

Aircel Home is manufactured by Huawei and supports upload speeds upto 7.2Mbps and Downloads upto 5.76 Mbps. The price for this entire setup is Rs 5999 which is pretty high considering that you can get a usual broadband connection and a Wi-Fi router. Aircel is known for its poor connectivity and in that case it makes less sense to go in for the Aircel Home.
