Aircel has come up with a new FRC (First Recharge Voucher) of Rs.56 for the prepaid customer of West Bengal (RoB) telecom circle which is one of the cheapest for both local off-net and on-net calling with a long term validity.
The cost of the voucher is Rs.56 which will give 180 days validity. Local on-net call rate is 1p/3Sec whereas local off-net 1p/2sec.
The local on-net effective call rate is 20p/min, one of the best features of this plan. Along with Bangladesh calling is 5p/Sec. NLD/STD is 1p/Sec flat.
The pack is bundled with 100 MB 2G Data for initial 15 Days. After the fist charged SMS 50 Local/national SMS will be provided free of cost for 30 days.

Note: This plan is currently available only in WB circle, and only valid for new customer this offer is cheaper than Reliance GSM FRC28 plan which is currently providing same call rate except lower on-net call rate and bundled freebies with a validity of 90 days. MTS , which is known for its cheapest voice tariff is providing costlier tariff of Rs.48 pan for 90 Days for 1p/2Sec Local calling.

every information is right but the call charges will be 1.2 paisa per 3 sec in local and 1.5 paisa per 2 sec in std

This is also available for existing customers. Data & SMS is not valid for existing customers. Tariff price is same Rs56, validity 180days. I already recharged it.

Aircel increased tariff in chennai !
Now A-A 1.2p/sec and A-M is 1.5p/sec i.e 90ps/min ! Now aircel also becomes too costly like airtel !

In Tamilnadu :
Aircel is the 2nd costly private provider (after Airtel) to provide offnet mobile calls for Rs.144 rate cutter which is valid for 90 days. But docomo (which is sharing the aircel network) provides Rs.35 which gives the benefit of calling onnet at Rs.0.01 for 6 seconds, call any local offnet at Rs.0.005 per second and all STD calls at Rs.0.012 per second which is valid for 90 days !!!.

Where subscriber base is low, they launch this types offers to lure consumers. But they dont offer good plans in North East. Aircel sucks.

Aircel coverage is really very poor. The reason they cite is “customer’s residence surrounded by high rise buildings, hence poor signal penetration”. Amazing! What do they expect in a city? My home is surrounded by G+4 apartments on 2 sides and open on another 2 sides! Still, their signal doesn’t penetrate. Is G+4 “high rise” in a city? Or they expect Kolkata should be a village so that their service runs well?

Aircel here offers god tarrifs.. Rc38 A-A 1lakh seconds free for 1 month, 2G pack 47 with 1GB for 1 month, 3G is same all over,
rc for 65 & make all calls at 1/2pper sec & 100sms free per day at no extra cost validity 6months.
RC40: get 200L+N sms pr day along with 500MB 2G data for 30days.
Coverage & network quality has improved a lot in karnataka with almost 14000 towns, villages & all highways covered… Coming from Airtel has not at all disappointed me…
full talktime starts at 75rs

some years ago Aircel was the best choice for students in Odisha…but it behaves like Airtel. i have two aircel nos and i am now planning to port out to DOCOMO this month. because aircel onnet unlimited starts at RS 349..where Docomo has given it at RS 123 although 6 pm to 10 pm chargeable at 10paise/minute onnet.. but still it affordable……reliance smart has rs 249 onnet unlimited to both GSM and CDMA. BSNL has rs 300 onnet to all (gsm, cdma,WLL,landline) but this Aircel behaves like Airtel having no offer..so to me its time to BYE BYE AIRCEL….

The CC number 98510-12345 doesn’t work from any other Service Provider except Aircel.
