The Much waited 3G in Karnataka’s major City Bengaluru is over, with the launch of 3G all the Private telecom player’s who got the license to operate 3G in Karnataka are running a never like campaign to promote its services.
As we shared earlier in TT about the 3G tariff plans on airtel, Tata Docomo & Aircel everyone felt that Tariff plans are on higher side which is not affordable to the common man. To all out TT fans we are bringing the all tariffs at one shot to compare the best 3G being offered by the operator.
One interesting fact about the private operator in 3G Video calls are that, all of them are charging @ 5ps/sec(Rs3/min). NO operator has introduced any rate cutter to reduce the Video calls.

AIRTEL: START 3G to 121(toll free) – TAT* 2 Hrs
TATA DOCOMO: ACT3G to 53333 (Toll free)- TAT* 2 hrs
AIRCEL: START 3G to 121 (Toll free) – TAT* 2-4 hrs

AIRTEL: It never gave any freebies to its customers in the Circle wher it has got the Highst number of subscribers, Instead on the activation of the 3G services the 2G gprs pack gets washed off on the activation of the 3G servies.
TATA DOCOMO: It all started with the Intoduction of 250 MB free 3G data usage with 10 day validty. No videos calls free mins were offered during the launch.
AIRCEL: Aircel 3G customers were happy as the Freebies showered on them was more than they expected, 250 MB free data usage & 50 mins of Free video calling to any network all over india.

Just look at the basic tariff of DOCOMO which is Rs 90 and the free data usage given is 200MB compare to 100 MB free usage in the Airtel’s 101 & Aircel’s 92 plan.
Aircel’s Plans seems not to be much attractive as its restricted its tariff plan at 2.5GB usage only at Rs 975. Aircel’s is offering the Plans at a restricted speed starting at 3.6Mbps for the Rs 90 plan & 7.2 Mbps for Rs 975 plan.
Where In Tata & Airtel doesn’t seems to be restricting its speed on the plans.
